Zach Riedel - Alto Saxophone/Clarinet
Zach attends school at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point where he is triple majoring in Music, Arts Management, and Communication (Media Studies emphasis.) At school Zach participates in his schools jazz ensembles, jazz combos, and wind ensembles where he has played a combination of saxophones, clarinets, and flute. Some of his favorite musicians to listen to include Eric Marienthal, Frank Sinatra, Paquito D’Rivera, and Chick Corea, just to name a few! A current album he’s been listening to has been Hindsight by tenor saxophonist Bob Reynolds (another one of Zach’s favorite artists.) One of Zach’s favorite performances from last semester was playing Duke Ellington’s jazz arrangements of The Nutcracker Suite for a theatre production in Stevens Point. In his free time Zach enjoys hanging out with friends and arranging music.
